as soon as I landed I put the card in and it worked. US and Mexico were both fine for internet. Didn't really call anyone :)

Easy and Good

I was a little scared to just pop in another sim card and expect it to work , but it actually did!
Meanwhile, my sister had to pay $90 for a sim card at the airport because she didn’t order one before. I definitely recommend!

Can I make calls with the SIM card for North America?

Yes. Calls and texts within the USA are unlimited with the SIM card for North America. You cannot send texts to numbers outside the USA while you are in the USA.

Does the North America travel SIM card come with a phone number?

Yes. Your phone number is sent in the confirmation email on your activation date.

Can I use the North America SIM card outside the USA?

Yes. The North America SIM card works in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The plan includes 5GB of data for Canada and Mexico.

Which network does the SIM card for North America use?

The SIM card for North America uses T-Mobile in the USA, Wind, Bell, Rogers or Telus in Canada, and Telefónica or Telcel in Mexico. Depending on your device and local coverage, you can expect speeds up to 5G.

How long is the SIM card for North America valid?

The SIM card for North America is valid as long as your plan is active. When the plan ends, the phone number is terminated.

Can I recharge the North America travel SIM card?

Yes. Recharges for the North America travel SIM card are available for 7, 10, 14, 21 and 30 days on our recharge page. Order at least 3 days before your plan expires. Unused data, minutes and texts do not roll over.

Does the North America travel SIM card need a PIN?

No. The North America travel SIM card does not need a PIN. If your phone shows 'blocked', 'barred', 'incorrect SIM' or 'SP lock', it is locked to another network: ask your current provider for the unlock code.

How do I activate my North America SIM card?

Once you have received your North America SIM card, send an activation request on our activation page and choose your activation date. We activate it on that date and email you a confirmation with your phone number. It only works once it connects to a local network, so it will not connect before you arrive; switch on data roaming when you are there.

Will my phone work with the North America SIM card?

The North America SIM card is a trio SIM (standard, micro and nano) for unlocked phones. Your phone must also support the frequency bands used in the USA.

Can I keep using WhatsApp with my own number on the SIM card for North America?
